I envy those with brown eyes because they're able to pull off a wide variety of vibrant colors!
If you're going for a natural look it's ok to use those neutral colors but I recommend avoiding your typical brown/black liner or you'll end up with nothing but brown to coincide with your already brown eyes. You don't want your eye makeup to be one dimensional. A light blue or deep purple liner has a lot of flare but maintains professionalism.
And when you're not trying to work your way up the corporate ladder you can apply basically any color shadow and achieve an effective night time look! Because brown is a neutral color, it can compliment a variety of hues.
