Whoever did this Victoria's Secret model's makeup must have been going for a gothic raccoon look and certainly achieved it! Typically the mistake of using too much eyeliner/dark eyeshadow is usually the fault of 13 year-old girls who are experimenting with makeup for the first time.
Why is this a trend in high fashion? The purposes of proper eyeliner/eyeshadow application is to enhance the eyes or change the eye shape. This overbearing mess shrinks her eyes ridiculously and makes her eyes appear only as slits. I cannot see her lashes, her waterline, or hardly the color of her eyes. Fail!
