I'm sure everyone who keeps up with mainstream media has heard the controversy surrounding children's pageantry. Is it acceptable to slather makeup on children for the spotlight? Is going beyond playing dress up at home going too far? Personally, if I were a pageant judge, I would find it more admirable if a child wore no makeup. I believe it would preserve their innocent nature. Honestly, seeing a child with more makeup on than I do scares me.
